Launching the Neurodiversity Profiling Pilot

We have seen the launch of the six month Neurodiversity Transformation Project (NTP) profiling pilot. The pilot will train 42 schools and 8 nurseries across BNSSG (11 schools and two Early Years settings from South Glos) on the Neuro profiling tool which focusses on the nine areas of need. (see our July update for details of the tool)

Once the education setting is trained, the pilot will identify and contact chosen families to be part of the pilot.

Those families who are contacted will have the option to take part, doing so will not affect their child’s eligibility for autism or ADHD assessment, or their position on the waiting list.

Parent Carer’s Voices

Throughout the project, the local parent carer forums in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire have been making sure that the voices of our families are heard.

Here Rachel Trueman from SGPC discusses the neurodiversity profiling pilot and how parent carers have been involved in its development.
